I'm playing with 2.6.16-hardened-r9 now, and still not having much luck. After SILO comes up, I get the following:
boot: selinux Allocated 8 Megs of memory at blah! for kernel Loaded kernel version 2.6.16 Remapping the kernel... done. Registering callbacks... done. Booting Linux... Then it just stops. STOP+a doesn't work (I'm guessing because it's a hardened kernel?).
