I appear to have difficulties understanding the package masking stuff. For a particular package (svn) I need a least db-4.0.14. This is appearently masked, but even if I set the ACCEPT_KEYWORDS variable according to the emerge man page I get:
$ ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' emerge -p =sys-libs/db-4.0.14 These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies !!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "=sys-libs/db-4.0.14" have been masked. !!!
