Are you running '/etc/init.d/sshd start' or are you trying to just run /usr/sbin/sshd by itself?
The script should generate any keys that you need. -----Original Message----- From: Bryce Verdier [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, February 12, 2003 11:31 PM To: gentoo-user Subject: [gentoo-user] host keys for ssh I'm sorry if some people might find this "too easy" of a question, but I've emerged openssh, but when i try to start sshd, i keep getting errors about host keys. I've looked through the man pages concerning ssh-keygen. But nothing there points directly too host keys. Can someone point me in the right direction? thanks in advance. bryce -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
