I'm doing a pair of installs at more or less the same time (one after the other when the CD was finished with). I've just noticed today that both units have faulted at a certain point - building freetype-2.1.2-r2.ebuild - an error is complained of.
I think (I might be right) that the problem is a lack of end bracket in the file. I've edited the file on each and popped an end curly bracket in (which it looks like it needs, as there's an opening one with no closure (I'm not a programmer, but I've seen these things before in ActionScript)) and it goes ahead and works.
