Recently gdk-pixbuf 0.22.0 appeared in the list of masked packages. Because my Phoenix kept crashing at least five times a day with a gdk error, I decided to try this new gdk-pixbuf and.... Phoenix hasn't crashed for two days. So if I were gentoo, I'd mark this version stable....
