hey i wanted to mention an idea for portage here so if its a good idea it could be worked out before going into bugtrax er what not to bug the developers, but anyways the idea was having updates done in patches (if source still exists on upgradeing machine) to the current source, perhaps reducing the dl load for those just updateing. slack does its updates in this manner from what i understand would it work for us? i realize it would require more storage on servers but if bandwidth is an issue perhaps this will help? or are we allready doing this?
