Hi Today I was trying to emerge dvdrip for the first time and it was choking at the emerge of transcode. It was not able to find the -lnetpbm I have netpbm version 10.11.5 installed. Finally after some debugging I fixed the problem by creating a softlink /usr/lib/libnetpbm.so -> libnetpbm.so.10 ..... I think the installation should have taken care of this. I dont understand these shared object version prefixes but to me it looks like a broken netpbm (ebuild or source tarball). Hope this helps. Spundun
