If you compiled your kernel with ACPI support, try disabling that... I had the same problem on my Toshiba Satellite 1800-400, and disabling some features of ACPI solved it. Regards, Michele Noberasco -- Linux *IS* user friendly: it just appears to be selective who it is friend with!
