I just installed distcc yesterday, and I am delighted by the benefit I get from it. Now the thing is, there's a couple of high-performance pc's on my lan who aren't used all the time (flatmates), but don't have gentoo.
So my question is: would it be possible to put gcc and distcc on the livecd? So people in my situation can just pop in the cd on a remote machine, boot from it, and use the cpu for compiling packages on their machine... really, that would be soooo lovely. -- nessie -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
