I am trying to dual boot to XP using grub. XP is installed on a separate hard drive which is a slave on my primary IDE controller, the same one that Gentoo is the master on. The drive is identified as hdb. So, I added this to my grub.conf:
title=Windows XP root (hd1,0) chainloader (hd1,0)+1 When I try to boot to XP, it says that the drive has an unknown file system on it (ntfs, if that makes a difference) runs the chainloader command and then hangs. Can anyone point out what I have done wrong?
