Why is there 2 of pretty much every ebuild? I ask as I noticed awhile back there seems to be ebuilds in both /var/db/pkg/ and /usr/portage/ Isn't that redundant? Don't we need just one copy of an ebuild per package? I'm just curious why...
Anyways other than that why even with my frequent rsyncs do I have some fairly old ebuilds in there?
