sh: line 1: /usr/bin/Xvnc: cannot execute binary file
sh: line 1: /usr/bin/Xvnc: cannot execute binary file

I've emerged tightvnc on 2 machines here machine "B" works perfectly.
Machine "A" works as client but cannot start vncserver (see above) The
problem seems to stem from Xvnc not being installed on emerge of
tightvnc below is from the emerge output:

Copying Xvnc/programs/Xserver/Xvnc ->
/var/tmp/portage/tightvnc-1.2.8/image//usr/bin/Xvnc
cp: cannot stat `Xvnc/programs/Xserver/Xvnc': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of
`/var/tmp/portage/tightvnc-1.2.8/image//usr/bin/Xvnc': No such file or
directory

I copied Xvnc from machine "B" to machine "A" and adjusted permissions.
and I get:
$ vncserver
Couldn't start Xvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.
Couldn't start Xvnc process.

sh: line 1: /usr/bin/Xvnc: cannot execute binary file
sh: line 1: /usr/bin/Xvnc: cannot execute binary file

What am I missing here?
