i think backup solutions for even personal workstations are quite necessary, and i think this script will make it easier for ppl to get into the backup habit. especially if it's used as a cron job like it's suggested.
remember, this is intended for your average gentoo user that runs gentoo in non-critical server environments... it should still have flexibility for you power users out there ;)
