I tested a toshiba M1 and I just used the pentium3 (4 breaks gcc) as cflags and used pentium 4 in the kernel configuration. it worked fine
Did you use -march or -mcpu ?
Also, can somebody clarify: sse2 related bugs are fixed in gcc 3.2.3 (and 3.3, etc), are they not?
