Salut Andrew,
have a Tyan S2462 Thunder K7 with 2 x 1200 Athlon MP (now I know) had the problem that
cat /proc/cpuinfo gave me the attached log.
I interchanged the two cpus and have still the same output CPU0 = AMD Athlon (tm) MP and CPU1= AMD Athlon (tm) Processor.
Do you have the same output ?
I get something similar. It shows CPU0 as 'AMD Athlon MP 2200+' and CPU1 as 'AMD Athlon MP' when they are identical processors.
