Since, when I update to mysql 4 I am going to have to update all the packages that are built against it, how can I find out which packages are built against mysql?
There are two things you need to do.
(1) emerge gentoolkit; revdep-rebuild (2) etcat -d mysql (then re-emerge those which are installed)
