if you want qmail to work with glibc-2.3.2-r1, you need to emerge qmail-1.03-r10 (~x86). i had the same problem today.

Yes, thanks, I didn't mentioned in head email of this thread ... I tried to recompile qmail with glibc-2.3.2-r1, but it fails on some missing function, (with 2.3.1-r4 it pass).
It's clear qmail needs some "facelift" to work with new version of libraries ...
