I just upgrade gcc/glibc/python and now system is really slow. Nothing else has changed that I'm aware of. Mozilla is really, really slow now. Changing tabs takes almost a sec...urgh
That does not make much sense. Upgrading those packages should not have any impact on system speed. Check running processes (top) and their memory usage (by pressing M in top). Also, check other users' processes if any.
