Hello all, trying to install Gentoo 1.4 rc2 on my laptop - HP Omnibook 5700ctx, P166, 128 MB -- and old one so can't use auto-boot from CD-ROM so I use Smart Boot Manager from http://btmgr.sourceforge.net got it booting but it always hangs at Partition Checking. note I successfully install OpenBSD, NetBSD, & Debian on this laptop. are there any way to skip the partition checking?
