$ qpkg -f `which nspluginscan`
kde-base/kdebase *

$ emerge -pv kdebase

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

[ebuild   R  ] kde-base/kdebase-3.1.2  -ldap +pam +motif +encode 
+oggvorbis +cups +ssl +opengl +samba +java
