All of a sudden, I get the following problem when tryin to upgrade anything (both world and mozilla):
bash-2.05b$ sudo emerge -up mozilla These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild U ] app-arch/unzip-5.50-r2 [5.50-r1] [ebuild U ] app-arch/zip-2.3-r2 [2.3-r1] [blocks B ] <dev-perl/ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r6 (from pkg dev-lang/perl-5.8.0-r12) [blocks B ] <dev-perl/File-Spec-0.84-r1 (from pkg dev-lang/perl-5.8.0-r12) [ebuild U ] dev-lang/perl-5.8.0-r12 [5.8.0-r11] [ebuild U ] sys-devel/gettext-0.12.1 [0.11.5-r1] [ebuild U ] sys-devel/binutils-2.14.90.0.5 [2.14.90.0.2] [ebuild U ] sys-devel/gcc-3.2.3-r2 [3.2.3-r1] [ebuild U ] app-crypt/gnupg-1.2.2-r1 [1.2.2] [ebuild U ] net-www/mozilla-1.4-r1 [1.3-r2] Everytime I try to do an 'emerge -u mozilla' I get: Calculating dependencies ...done! !!! Error: the <dev-perl/ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-r6 package conflicts with this package and both can't be installed on the same system together. How do I get rid of those blocked packages. How does it conflict with mozilla? Or is it talking about another package? Btw, I am using "~x86". Ben Ricker -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
