Peter:
Had a response for a developer whose name escapes me now, but he stated that
the dirver name should have been hpijs and not HP-DeskJet 940C. That change
corrected what ever was wrong and the printer is now installed. Who ever I
stated that my reading of the printer how to did not lead me to that and it
should therfore be revised to better clarifiy the driver name. Also the how
to leads one to then go to web admin to add the printer and that is not
needed also. Thanks for your help.
