oh yes, such things can happen. A weak PSU may pass every factory test, but die quickly after that, bad-ram may work in a labratory or ram-tester, but throw errors in the warmer computer case and so on. If you have this problems with diffrent OS, it is a case for DELLs costumer support (and I think it is already).
