It was compiled against the old glibc. I issued an emerge portage to compile it with
the new glibc, but it didn't change anything.

My ACCEPT_KEYWORDS is commented out and the KEYWORDS of my glibc ebuilds are as
follows:

embryo glibc # fgrep KEYWORDS glibc-2.3.1-r4.ebuild glibc-2.3.2-r1.ebuild
glibc-2.3.1-r4.ebuild:KEYWORDS="amd64 x86 ppc sparc alpha mips hppa arm"
glibc-2.3.2-r1.ebuild:KEYWORDS="x86 ppc ~sparc alpha -hppa ~arm mips"

which looks alright to me.

I even tried to rebuild glibc-2.3.2-r1 (using ebuild glibc-2.3.2-r1.ebuild merge), to
see if something went wrong during emerge of glibc, but it reported success.
