hehe - Can you be a little more specific? Do you use kde? gnome? something else? Do you have a firewire webcam? usb? Have you done any research to see if your specific webcam is even usable in linux? What do you want to use the webcam for? You've asked a very open-ended question which is impossible to answer in any way which might satisfy you. ps - I noticed while trying to get my firewire webcam working that this question comes up once in a while on the forums (http://www.gentoo.org).
