If you mean "Sound Blaster Live! 5.1" then your driver is emu10k1. Do "emerge emu10k1" and read the README files under /usr/share/doc/emu10k1.../ . If your kernel is nor configured properly you'll have to configure it and then remerge the driver. After that configure /etc/emu10k1.conf and then run emu-script.
