1- I am using 2.4.20-gentoo-r5 in my laptop and I will try to compile a new kernel (I will use linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r7).
Do I have to know/read anything to compile the kernel ? (any settings for getooo distro.)
2- in /usr/src I have linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r6/ linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r5/ linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r7/
Can I remove linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r6/ linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r5/ ?
