I started building a new gentoo system. I'm almost done, but I can't emerge a bootloader for some reason. "emerge grub" results in:
# emerge grub Calculating dependencies !!! Problem in sys-apps/grub dependencies !!! 'str' object has no attribute 'has_key'
I've tried re-syncing etc. Nothing I do makes this error go away. What does it mean and how can I recover?

I tried to use grub only once in a past, (do not know why) but not succeed ...
lilo is doing the job for me perfect ...
so try it ...
