[gentoo-user] Vmware 4/gentoo install howto

Hi,

I'm trying to install the gentoo 1.4 relaise under vmware4, but

I'm missing something for sure.

After the boot process has finished and I get my prompt, I start partitioning

with fdsik and get the messages "you will not be able to write the partition table",

and even vmware does use scsi naming even you have ide drives I'v found my hard drive under /dev/hdc using the fdisk command.

Please help me install genntoo in this virtual machine,
