It does of course depend on which Vaio you've got, but I've just upgraded my R600 from 128MB to 384MB. Bought the memory for 75 quid from www.crucial.com/uk 128MB was 35 quid for either this laptop or my old one (Z600) Just thought there might be a chance it'd be cheaper than wherever you tried.
