To duplicate the same set of _installed_ packages it's
$ emerge `cat /var/cache/edb/copy-of-world-from-other-machine`
But this is time-consuming. If your machines are of similar architecture & USE flags it might be worth looking at quickpkg & the -K (?) option to emerge.
