I have no sound with alsa in X media programs. Whether I use rhythmbox or xine I get an error on the terminal that says:
libmad: ALERT input buffer too small (417 bytes, 0 avail)! audio_alsa_out: snd_pcm_open() of front failed: Invalid argument audio_alsa_out: >>> check if another program don't already use PCM <<< However, sound does work if I just use aplay to play a wav file.
