Hi Jean,This is what I have in /usr/src/linux/.configCONFIG_PARPORT=m CONFIG_PARPORT_PC=m CONFIG_PARPORT_PC_CML1=m # CONFIG_PARPORT_SERIAL is not set CONFIG_PARPORT_PC_FIFO=y CONFIG_PARPORT_PC_SUPERIO=y # CONFIG_PARPORT_AMIGA is not set # CONFIG_PARPORT_MFC3 is not set # CONFIG_PARPORT_ATARI is not set # CONFIG_PARPORT_GSC is not set # CONFIG_PARPORT_SUNBPP is not set CONFIG_PARPORT_OTHER=y CONFIG_PARPORT_1284=y CONFIG_PARIDE_PARPORT=m It seems different to yours. I can't figure out what to do from the printing guide as it just saysgo to parralel port support and enable it. My question is how..?Thanks,Alan----- Original Message ----- From: "Jean Magnan de Bornier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2003 3:15 AM Subject: Re: [gentoo-user] CUPS Printing - Parrallel Port Support - DJ510
