Is there a command line program or script I can filter something through to remove color? For example, if I want to run 'emerge' and get output with no color, how can I do this?It's really currious question ...
if I redirect the output of an "emerge" to file or prog (cat, less, more ...)
colors go away :-( (no special filter needed).
So I thing more proper question would be: "How can I conserve colors ?"
