i solved it this way: copy everything from i586-linux into i686-linux, renamed i586-linux to i586-linux.org and created a symlink from i686-linux to i586-linux, and nagios can work now.
Its not nice but, if someone have a beter way ...
I'd rather like to know where the path information is stored to configure it this way, not needing to fear the next update..
