Hi,

after updating my Kernel (gentoo-sources 2.4.20-r7 to r8) and gcc i cannot
emerge alsa-driver anymore. It looks like configure has some problem with gcc
so i downgraded gcc, recompiled the kernel and.. same same
my kernel-config is the same one like r7 (sondcore as module, no further
devicedrivers.
my make.conf includes: ALSA_CARDS="ens1371" but i tried also without.

Anyone ideas?

here comes the (last lines) of the "emerge alsa-driver" output:

checking for kernel version... 2.4.20-gentoo-r8
checking for GCC version... Kernel compiler: Used compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.2

Please, send ./configure output to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
