I would like to use my Pentium 3 (1GHz) to compile gentoo for my Pentium Classic (200MHz).
How does this work? Won't there be problems with misdetecting the processor type in /mnt/gentoo/proc as well use when using uname in the chrooted environment? Or does the CHOST setting do some hacks to get around this? -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
