XFS was integrated on 2.4.23.. So no worries on having to patch it twice on
the next go around. Openmosix crew has not got the patch ready for 23 yet,
should be out soon though, they are pretty quick about them.

Here is the message on the openmosix-general I am on..

Subject: patch for XFS + lowlat + mppe support

Hi OpenMosixers!

I have cooked small patch for linux-2.4.22 that contains the following:

1) openmosix patch (obviously)
2) XFS filesystem support (without kdb due to few unresolved conflicts with
openmosix)
3) low latency (patch taken from the mailing list some time ago)
4) MPPE support for PPP (not widely used on oM clusters I suppose, however I
need it sometimes to setup quick tunels)

I have tested this setup on my 3-node cluster (in case someone interested - it
is running SuSE-9.0 PRO now; I had no problems in setting openmosix on this
distro) and it showed great perfomance and no problems so far (with XFS and
low latency enabled).

or patch directly -

[ MD5 (2.4.22-oM-1-xfs_lowlat.diff.bz2) = 8795ab9c0d2bf8203d113489cb4f058b ]

I will be adding more patches into current collection as I have free time, so
we can grow openmosix!

regards,
Mikhail.
