sauron root # grep smbmike /etc/fstab
//gandalf/mike  /home/mike/smbmike  smbfs
credentials=/home/mike/.cred.smbmike,uid=mike,gid=users,user    0       0

That's 2 lines, the grep and the entry in fstab.

/home/mike/.cred.smbmike has:
username        =       myusername
password        =       mypassword

Should it fail to mount during startup I can mount it as my user, without root privs.
