I am running Gentoo with 2.4 kernel right now.
I would like to check out 2.6 to see how it works.
I am using lvm for all my partitions except /, /boot and swap.
As far as I can get it LVM changed a lot and when I want to merge the lvm2 tools it is blocked by the currently installed ones.
Now my question. Can I safely upgrade to lvm2 tools or will I be unable to run kernel 2.4 then?
