Yes, pretty much, although he downplays the hardware support deficit.  Maybe xxBSD has 
made great strides recently, but the last time I tried FreeBSD (a couple of years 
ago), it couldn't even come close to handling the peripherals on a modern PC.

That being said, load time for large packages (OpenOffice comes to mind) was markedly 
faster than on linux.
