I'm trying to upgrade gnome to the latest version available, but it stops on gnome-terminal becaust that requires xft.
But xft blocks Xfree 4.3 or higher (I removed it earlier). How can I get around this one? emerge -UDp gnome-terminal >>> --upgradeonly implies --update... adding --update to options. These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done!
