According to gentoo bug #35457 the latest cvs of timidity will build and install. I emerged cvs and got the cvs version of timidity. I've never used cvs before and I'm not understanding how to emerge the cvs version. Do I need to create an ebuild for the cvs version before it will use the cvs version? I tried creating a tar.bz2 out of the cvs of timidity. Emerge still wants to use the one that does not build. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
