i was running mm-sources 2.6.2
did echo 3 >/proc/acpi/sleep and my dell x200 went to sleep, supposedly suspended to RAM, after that i couldnt wake it up anymore, what i did in my panic was unplug the power and took off the battery and let it sit for 20 minutes to discharge the internal battery(?) after that it was ok. has anyone seen this? and why did this happen?
