chmod doesn't give me an error but mv does when I try to mv a file to a dir I just chown'd (via root) to my user. Tells me that I don't have permission to write. O.o; It could be because the symlink I'm using to get to where I'm owning was made by root. I'll try fixing that and see what happens.
