Thanks you very much for that Peter. I had to reboot to enable the changes, even as root I was denied permission to restart from a consol. On rebooting I had no way of starting KDE and had to edit the above back to "Keyboard0" to enable KDE to run. Apart from that all my keys are now in the correct place. It's taken me 4 days to get this system running from a stage 1 install and my head is spinning with config files. Thanks again. -- Tony. Gentoo Linux.
