This is not what I mean... I'll explain by steps 1... GRUB loads and shows a list of available installed OS 2... I select Gentoo Linux OS and then before framebuffer background appears it shows a list of messages (IN TEXT MODE) like :
Loading Initrd... loading Kernel, etc 3... If you want to change your configuration (so you always see the boot messages displayed over the lovely framebuffer background), change the option splash=silent to splash=verbose in your grub.conf.
