Hi, I have a stereo jack cable from output of the TVcard to the line-in of the soundcard. The snd-bt87x is absolutely unrelevant in this case. This is used when your card send the audio accross PCI, so remove it. You won't see your tvcard mixer in alsamixer, you will see line-in instead of it, use this. I'm not sure about the role of I2C, but I think it is used for IR remote control. I don't use it.
