I have the same chipset but with a shuttle XPC. Did you unmute most of
the channels in the alsamixer ? Right now all of my 4 speakers are
playing music. I can't say it's surround but at the very least I'm
sure it's duplicated. Maybe by unmuting the right channel it should be
fine. If you have a true suround sound file to test I could give it a
go. Just send it to my gmail account.
