Hi, Times at which I am not by my laptop I leave my laptop locked using 'xlock'. I know this isn't the best way because 'xlock' consumes many CPU cycles.
What is the best way to lock my laptop so that when I do resume work my laptop isn't at 75 degree celcius (My CPU fan doesn't seem to stop or slow down either). Moreover are there any recent guides/docs to enable power management features on a laptop (I've already checked the Gentoo guide; Any other guides out there?).
